Shipping Policy

We print your card, handwrite your message in real ink, and mail it directly to your recipient. Shipping is included in every price; there is never a separate shipping charge at checkout.

Production time

Orders are typically written, sealed, and handed to the postal service within one business day. Orders placed on weekends or US holidays enter production the next business day.

Delivery estimates

United States: about 2 to 5 business days after production, by USPS First Class. Canada: about 5 to 10 business days. Other countries: about 7 to 21 business days depending on destination. These are estimates, not guarantees; postal carriers control final delivery.

Tracking

Standard cards are mailed as real letters with real stamps and are not tracked. That is part of what makes them feel personal. You will receive an email when your order is confirmed and another when it has been mailed.

Addresses

Please double check the recipient's address at checkout; we print the envelope from exactly what you enter. We deliver to street addresses, PO boxes, and APO and FPO military addresses. If mail is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange a resend.

Sending to yourself

Want to hand the card over in person? Enter your own address as the shipping address at checkout and we will mail it to you instead.

International

We mail to most countries with postage included. Cards are ordinary letter mail and do not normally attract customs duties. Delivery times vary widely by destination and local postal service.

Delays beyond our control

Severe weather, postal strikes, and peak season backlogs can delay delivery. If a card seems lost, our Refund Policy provides a free one-time reprint and remail.
