Happy birthday to someone whose standards are high because you care, not because anything less than perfect is a failure. You are allowed to grow without grading every step, change your mind without calling it a mistake, and celebrate progress before the work is finished. I hope this year gives you more confidence in what is already working and less pressure to polish every edge. May you keep improving what matters while also enjoying the imperfect, generous life happening now.

Fold-open card, 5 x 7 in. Your message is written on the inside in real ink, and it arrives in its own stamped envelope.
